They have never done plural words like bakes, but they've always done verb tenses like baked etc.

I forgot that there was a work strike at the NY Times today when I played, people who support the workers are supposed to not buy any NY Times papers or interact with their site all day today (Thursday) and that includes Wordle since they own it now...

Oh well. Maybe I'll skip Friday's puzzle to make up for it depending on how the walkout goes today...

Just to show my support, I deleted my tweet with today's Wordle results lol.

I think it was supposed to be a one-day work stoppage. I haven't heard much about whether it helped their cause or not.
