Live, Die Repeat

Post by Mirah »

I know
It is Tom Cruise so nobody wants to watch it
but really
did anyone watch it?
Emily Blunt is also in it.
Someone had the movie and I've got nothing better to do so a couple of us watched it tonight, it was okay. Its like groundhog day in the future and with war and aliens. But really, I never heard of it.

I liked it too. Tom Cruise usually makes good action movies but everyone has to say "BUT I DON'T LIKE HIM" after watching them.

Emily Blunt's stomach was good.

Yeah, that part was nice.
Did this film originally have a different name?

The film's original name was "All You Need Is Kill" which I think was a literal translation of the original manga the film is based on. It got changed to "Edge of Tomorrow", which is what the film's actually called now, but I don't think anyone actually liked that name because all the marketing called it "LIVE, DIE, REPEAT: Edge of Tomorrow".

Have you seen the movie, Tomtrek? Did it make you think Emily Blunt would be a good Captain Marvel.

Yes I have seen it although every time I watch it it always seems to lose me in the third act when they stop the Groundhog Day stuff and it just turns into an action film.

And yes Emily Blunt and her stomach would be a really good Captain Marvel should Charlize not want to do it.
