1975-1984
And
2018

I knew I had heard of this show before, and the second Schneider walked in I thought, "Hey......hasn't this been done before?"

I loved the original as a kid and I have the whole series on DVD (Shout Factory finally put it out last year).

The new show is okay as long as you don't try to draw connections between it and the old show, because there are none, other than it being about a divorced mother trying to make ends meet. But it's okay. The gayboy in me will always sit for some Rita Moreno overacting.

I want to watch a couple episodes of it. I know I watched it, but don't really recall too much of the storyline or anything about it.

Well that sucks. But they said they are going to shop it around to other networks to see if they'll carry it. So all may not be lost.

Three seasons seems to be the limit for Netflix original series now.
