He was much older than I thought. RIP.
I never really watched any of the L&O shows, but as a New Yorker I always gave it props for keeping all my actor friends employed with walk-on roies. For over 2 decades you could look in any Playbill in any Broadway theater, and almost every actor's bio included a Law & Order credit.

He was 94, or something, right? A good kick at the can. Never watched L & O (I thinking I was tutoring those nights and couldn't be bothered getting into it) but the kids loved it.

Yeah he was in his 90's.
