Pitch

Post by Cassie »

Since I am back in network tv HELL, I have to give new shows a chance or I will be watching the Jazzy Vegetarian on PBS AND OTHER TERRIBLE SHIT...

Anyway, I caught the second episode of Pitch last night and thought it was surprisingly watchable!

the cast from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pitch_(TV_series)

Kylie Bunbury as Ginny Baker, a rookie pitcher and the first female to play in Major League Baseball
Mark-Paul Gosselaar as Mike Lawson, the Padres' veteran catcher
Mark Consuelos as Oscar Arguella, the Padres' general manager
Mo McRae as Blip Sanders, a Padres player and friend and former minor league teammate of Ginny
Meagan Holder as Evelyn Sanders, Blip's wife and Ginny's friend
Tim Jo as Eliot, a social media–savvy manager
Dan Lauria as Al Luongo, the Padres' manager
Ali Larter as Amelia Slater, Ginny's agent

Baseball and drama, with decent acting. Too soon to tell if it will stay watchable, but worth trying.

I was hoping this would be a good show because I was interested in the concept.

I have to check it out. But I have so little room for new shows in my existence.

Pitch is still good! It's got a good story, baseball is a big part of it, but it's not everything.

I KNOW I AM THE ONLY ONE WATCHING THIS.

Eggs, I think you would like it. If you ever decide to watch it, start from the beginning so you can get Jenny's backstory.
