Latest episode was really fucking dumb.

- So Hunter Zoloman is a famous serial killer on Harry's world and Harry knows all about him. So why the fuck didn't he recognise Jay Garrick as this famous serial killer?

- Why did Fake Jay tell Caitlin about his real name being Hunter Zoloman when it could have ruined his complicated scheme?

- Zoom killed his younger self but isn't dead because...TIME REASONS?

- Why THE ACTUAL FUCK did Barry give his speed power over to Zoom AFTER Zoom had already let Wally go? Why not just shoot the bastard or something.

- "You wouldn't believe me if I told you!" Because the writers haven't come up with an answer yet.

I guess the fact that this is made by the same people as Arrow had to catch up with it sooner or later.

I think there are probably ways to rationalize all of that, but I don't care to do that because it was just stupid/lazy writing. I hope they manage to pull a rabbit out of their hat and save this season, because it's been getting pretty silly for awhile now.

yeah, this was all not very well planned out. They just wanted a powerless Barry for drama reasons. IMO.

Iris seemed super keen on killing the bad guy.

Well he was already dead.

I thought it was worse a few weeks ago when they were fighting the teenager who was aging super fast and they didn't even try to help him. They just made sure he'd age faster and die quicker.

So how many episodes will this counterpoint thing take up next year?

My guess no more than four, before everything goes back to how it was.

The finale was pretty bad. Zoom just suddenly wants to end all other realities (after saying the weak before he was going to conquer them all) and challenges Barry to race him around a big wheel to help him do it. Barry can now just make a "time remnant" appear and die for him any time he wants an easy way out.

I figured out the guy in the mask was Barry's dad as soon as he said his mother's maiden name was "Garrick."

Harry and Jesse are gone before she developed her speed powers? Or did they just have her and Wally hit by the speed thing for no reason.

But then at the end NONE OF THIS MATTERS because Barry just goes and does the same exact fucking thing he did at the end of season one, the thing that caused everything in season two to happen in the first place, by going back in time and saving his mum and fucking with the timeline. How many people will die because of Barry's selfishness this time?

DC can't leave any character alone without resetting their universe about once a day.

This will probably have repercussions across all the shows?

It would be funny if the first episode of the next series of Arrow was Oliver's dad as the green arrow visiting Oliver's grave.

Still at least it gives them an excuse as to how Supergirl can be on earth 1 now.

This is why I think it will be quickly undone in the first episode of the new season. Otherwise nothing would be the same on the other shows (did Barry ever save Oliver's life? If Barry isn't The Flash then Oliver's dead surely!)

Or maybe season three will have Barry as the villain who keeps going back in time to save his mum and fucking the universe up and Wally and Jesse are speedsters now who eventually kill him.
