My big toe nail is going to come off.

Last time this happened I didn't cut the nail-so it accidently ripped off in the middle of the night. I try wearing socks, I end up taking those off at night. I am going to try to tape it up or put a bandage on it. I'm scared when it does come off how much the exposed part will hurt. I can't remember what I did for that.

All this time and my nail hung on. Then I was able to clip it as it grew. Well tonight I was getting new sheets from the tote under my bed and there was my toe, against the carpet and almost ripped the nail all the way off now. I was about to hop in the bath at this point too and had to just take a shower. It was bleeding pretty good. So now I have a sock on it and I don't know what its doing but I am fucking scared to look at it.

Putting a bandaid on it seems advisable.

It finally came off and it didn't hurt. It was just the side tip by the time it had grown and I babied it, keeping a bandage on it and wearing socks at night. I hate wearing socks at night.
