I just watched a couple of geese having the sekhs

I saw them each bopping their heads so I looked at them through my binoculars and I was like, "Oh cute they are both bathing" and I really did think maybe they are about to do it, and I thought naaaaaa
and then sure enough
One got on top of the other grabbed her neck in its beak

and then it was over

they flapped their wings a couple of times, swam around and then went over to the log where some other water fowl were hanging out.

THIS IS THE PlACE WHERE I SWIM! EWWWWWW! LOL

I really really want to explain how the geese are different here. So now it is egg laying season and the geese are getting into their historic territorial areas-and one goose-is it a lone goose? I don't know-but this goose hangs out near the river right next to the road! Does he have a nesting mate nearby? What is going on? I have seen this every year since I have been here.
It is actually kind of creepy to me now.

2 geese are hanging out at the park across from the post office.
2 more at the bike rental shop
and a couple more down the road near the lake.

And all I thought of as I was driving down the road the other day is "I wonder where they are laying their eggs, maybe I could go steal one and have a nice breakfast"

WTF IS WRONG WITH ME!?! OMG

It's like the 1980s when condo buildings started popping up everywhere instead of houses, and suddenly neighborhoods were swarming with young yuppie couples lol
