Yesterday they said we were having record breaking high temps. I think it was about 94 here.

Power out since 18:30 yesterday. Windy and lots of rain. Hurricane Florence is still south-east of us but is moving very slow.

At least the wind keeps it from being unbearably hot.

Power still out but doing well.
Was able to make it to a friend's home to take a shower. ..felt GREAT

Cell service is sporadic so not sure when I'll be able to check in again. Keep us in your thoughts ....the rain is supposed to continue and the Cape Fear is already over flooding.
