12 boxes arrived today for the postmaster.
12 boxes that contain all of the equipment that I get to install next Monday after work. AFTER WORK. Switching from 1 system to a new system.

Someone said, "I ought to ask for help" "Okay" I say. So I did.
And my boss called and agreed that would be a good idea......and.......he had no idea how to get someone "uplake" to help me. HE STILL HAS NO IDEA. WTF.
He's like, "Yeah, they can come up on Monday to help" and I said, "And stay overnight?" And he was confused and thought there was an "evening" boat. Sure, you can charter a private boat for $300!

They are sending someone up next week-and she has a reseration at the lodge and the boat! Yay! Making progress. She can experience my personal hell then.

I am about to go postal. Low key postal. Only in my head. In my brain.

Just workin along, trying to get the things done for next week's conversion. And then an email pops up:
SOMS: Please ensure your untis are getting these complete.
I don't know what SOMS is. I ignore it.

Then the person who trained me forwards the email to me and says, "I see you are on this list. It is a short little survery that needs to be done through the SHMT app (under the My App box) It only takes a few minutes to complete it.

So I go looking for this SHMT and then the "MY APP" box-which I have never seen and I have already taken 5 minutes to do so and now 2 minutes to type this post!

Im not going to call him either because he is just going to insult me and I can't handle that right now. I will BITE HIS HEAD OFF.

Also when I looked at the email again I noticed my station on there-but also it is yellowed out along w/ other stations. Does that mean that maybe I don't have to do it?! I have no idea!

Seriously. I know. That is the big question. It sounds like he has done nothing for the postal service.
I get 15-20 emails a day about all of the managers needing to complete these little surverys, or customer follow up, it feels like when I was at WF. They are only looking at #'s and not actual stuff going on.

Lucky you! I hope you enjoy thouroughly!

I don't think I am going to make it in the place very long. Currently trying to do some other work-meanwhile everyone is like, "Did you complete this survey? It needs to be done by the 15th!"

My computer has no "My APP Box" which was confirmed by someone.
I have no access to the survey they want me to take. It is literally 4 questions-and I will answer "no" to all of them as I have No HVAC system in this building except for a window, which works just fine.

OMFG

This place. This fucking place won't be worth it. I can't. LOL I CAN'T EVEN!
