Well I got through the evening and I'm still in one piece (mostly).

There must be something astrological going on the past couple of days, I just feel like everything's in opposition, nobody's in sync, and I'm making bad choices and getting more emotional than necessary. Hopefully the days off will help with this.

I joined the United Postmasters and Managers of America today. It is the manager's version of a union. So thats cool.

I think I talked about this elsewhere.
The guy who trained me-and said he would help with hiker season (when we process over 2,000 hiker re-supply boxes) is flaking out. I was getting all worried about it, but now I"m not going to worry.
I just won't. It will be on him for not wanting to come and help out.

I wanted to talk to a million people and get advice on what to do-and I just decided I don't have to do anything. It isn't my issue to deal with. I mean-except that I will be doing a bunch of work this summer by myself, but maybe somethinng nice will happen and it will all work out.

Currently listening in on a zoom meeting of all of the post masters in the state and the new state manager, district manager I think is the person's title.

It is very corporate. Reminds me of when I worked for that bank. They want us to get "leads" on businesses AND they want to make sure that our customers are filing out surveys from thier visit.
I hate that sort of shit.

What went down is:

I get there, told I'm suspended since they didn't believe I was sick. I tried to explain but the operations manager wouldn't even listen, so I told him to fuck off

Tried to apologize, he wouldn't listen told me that's my job.

Tossed my badge by my super and left.

Today when I got home my phone started alerting me I had several notifications-apparently I didn't have wifi all day at work. The work internet was just fine-but the wifi I use the neighbors service w/ permission.
Anyway I had a text and a voicemail from my boss to call him-I have no idea what time either of those were sent. I tried to text him back (at 7:30 PM) but the text didn't go through, so I sent an email that took 34 minutes to actually send because my wifi at home isn't great either.
I wonder why my boss doesn't just email or call the office phone-there is a chance that he called the office phone and if I was busy bringing in packages I didn't hear it, but w/ all the windows open...I should hear it pretty well.
