I know I go through this in some form or another every summer-but there is a fire 5 miles away and we are on level 1 evac notice and at the community meeting last night we got told that it is imminent and they cant' stop it from coming in to town because there is no safe zone to fight from.
The town folk are upset, really upset.
They tried to cut them off from talking last night and not one person budged and they listened until each last question was asked.

Had a thunder storm today. I didn't see any lightning, but the thunder was loud. It also rained harder then I can remember in some time.

Amusingly, so we live behind a Catholic church. They ring their church bell every Sunday @ 10am, right after they finished there was a huge thunder right over us.

STAY SAFE!

It hit about 90 here, but with the humidity and air quality we had a Heat Advisory alert. And it's supposed to stay this warm all weekend but with thunderstorms/showers thrown in too.

This storm keeps changing. IT'S VERY ANNOYING. No bad weather yet, I don't even think it rained last night. They keep saying rain in a hour, then rain in two hours. WHERE IS DEBBY?
