Speaking of San Diego, are you a fan of Green Flash brewing?

I know of them, but never had a taste.
I never see Green Flash on the shelf.
They've been bankrupt and sold and have cut back production.
They're doing some contract brewing for other labels now too.

Stone, Ballast Point and Coronado Brewing Co are other locals.

I have started home brewing. Absolutely nothing to brag about yet.

Power is back on. Computer not working so I am limited in online access.

Still warm and the waters around here have begun to receed; however, other areas are still in danger. Who wants to come clean the yards for me.... ;-)

But seriously, Y'all be safe out there.

That's too bad about their financial issues. When I saw them here they were always more expensive than other micro brews, so I avoided buying them.

We have gotten soft in this wonderful age of technology. ...the heat didn't use to bother me so much but you best believe the A/C was turned on after the other necessities. ... ;-)

And Bullwinkle, fog can be both beautiful and dangerous. I've never been to San Diego but have heard the weather is a bit less chaotic than other ports in this crazy country of ours.

I think they're good.

The a/c is wonderful!

When I was a kid we didn't have it, we just used fans. I don't know how we survived

Fog is cool. I've been out fishing alone at night at the end of our quarter mile long pier in the fog.
Visibility about 75 feet. Absolutely dead quiet, no breeze. It's like the whole universe is a 75 foot diameter bubble.

We never had a/c till several years ago. I would not want to live with out it now.

Be safe. I saw the storm is supposed to hit north of you but I didn't see how far down the winds and rains would reach. I hope it misses you.

We had a heatwave today.

It's not bad here, just a little rainy. We're not even getting wind gusts.

It is bad up there in the panhandle, though.

Hopefully the storm won't cause them to drop the pan!

I think they dropped everything!
