There's a hurricane out there DOING STUFF

Listen up chatters, if I'm not around it means the power is out. This doesn't necessarily mean I'm in the middle of terrible weather, it will probably mean a tree branch has fallen on a transformer somewhere, it happens all the time. The wind gusts will make it more likely to happen.

Glad to hear that you survived Hurricane Matthew. We are still without power but buildings around us have power back.

It gets warm during the day but is starting to drop at night. Currently at 54 degrees(f) at 23:22 eastern time.

Thanks for inviting me. Hopefully when we get power back I'll be able to get to know this place. Be safe everyone.

As for the weather, it's finally chilly in New York. Autumn is here, a few weeks late.

We are having a bit of a warm up here. Autumn hasn't made up its mind yet. In the upper 80s this week during the day and mid 60s at night. But at least we have our power back now as well as the internet.

I'm glad your power is back! I never imagined you'd get hit like that.

I had to put on socks this morning!

I have socks and COSY SOCKS over my socks.

It was warm again for a while and I've had to turn the fans back on this past week but now it's going to get chillier this week and the heat started coming on. TIME KEEPS ON SLIPPINGsdfg

yeah, we noticd it was cold when the furnace broke and we had to wait two weeks for a tech to look at it. $145.oo to learn the furnace was broken.....calling for frost tonight so I hope the local peeps cut themselves some lovely bouquets and taken 'em inside to enjoy.
