I'm not a golf person, but even I knew of him (and the beverage named after him.

RIP.

He was great and all, but I've come to feel about the game of golf the way George Carlin felt about it. And I used to play, my father taught me when I was a kid. Now I think it's an elitist game and a great waste of land.

Then again, the courses are kept green as opposed to being paved over, so there are some small ecological benefits. But then most of the land is close-cropped and over-chemicalized. So there's that too.

Sorry he died.

I have no connection to him whatsoever.

He had a nice smile? That's about as much as I can muster. This makes me a monster no doubt.

I was shocked to hear he was 87! I mean, he's been around my whole life, but I thought he was more my mom's age instead of my grandma's.

No more Xarelto ads I guess. Is that what killed him?
