For the regular updates about Cassie's onions.

I had several onions from the store that started sprouting. I cut off all the outside part and planted them. Did you know you can do that?

I did not know that.

Good to hear the onions are growing.

I wish I had some funions

Have you ever had a sprouting sweet potato? I have one, two actually and I can't decide if I should eventually plant it outside or just in a pot inside my apartment-and like for just a house plant-or will it actually grow another sweet potato?

It will grow more sweet potatoes, but I think you need to plant the slips and not the whole potato.

The slip is the plant?
I am kind of curious to cut open the potato and see what it all looks like, but also sort of grossed out. It is my only house plant-besides my iris.

Cassie do you play music for your onions?

Stick your potato in some water, the slips are the plants that grow off it.

DR DAVE, I haven't played any music for the onions. Maybe I should.

I just went to the garden and shouted at the onions. I said, "DR DAVE SAYS YOU BETTER GROW". They grew two inches.
