Whoa now, let's all just take a deep breath and consider a much more reasonably possibility. He was kidnapped by some raccoon poachers that he caught in the act, then held for several days in a cage with those very same raccoons he witnessed being poached, fed only dog food and water, managed to escape by using a rib bone from a deceased raccoon to pick the lock on the cage he was trapped in, and then had to flea through several miles of forest before making it back to civilization.
