I watched the first four episodes, thought it was bad and gave up. Then people kept telling me episodes 9 and 10 were actually good. I watched them...and they were actually both quite good. So I'm looking forward to season two much more than future Picard or Discovery.

I agree the second half of the season was stronger than the first, but I enjoyed the entire thing myself.
