The Last BBS

I've been searching for a couple of years for the perfect shorts to wear for summer and have been unsuccesful.
I would sometimes browse the men's section looking for nicer looking shorts that don't cut off all of my circulation or show all of my parts and finally this year I found some! I think I waited too long in the season-I learned shopping during Father's day sales is the key.

If I wore shorts I'd scare people lol.

I don't own any shorts that I would wear out.

I am fully clothed at all times.

Good man!

Now I have a strong desire to see ALL OF YOUR LEGGS!

But at what cost?

I wear shorts most of the time! I have discovered some athletic shorts, I can't remember the brand, but they are STRETCHY.

I haven't had a shower or bath in 38 weeks.

I don't think stretchy would work for me for everyday or work shorts. But I did just discover a pair of stretchy water shorts that I like. They were not in the swimwear section-they were in the section by the water sports and kayaks.

I also purchased a couple of button up men's shirts because I thought they looked cool. I wonder if I can pull off the look tho.

So I wore my guy shorts and shirt out today while running errands.
I felt nice and cool
I didn't care what anyone thought
I might have even burped out loud once
But also when I was at the hardware store a guy was walking in while I was walking out and I hesitated for a moment because I thought he might want to hold open the door for me and he did not! BUt I can't assume it is because of what I was wearing.
By the end of the day I was ready to put on a dress again, being a guy for a day was exhausting.

I do think there is something in this ingrained self walking around feeling I have to apologize for things I didn't do and don't be too loud or take up too much space, don't inconvienience anyone and certainly look pretty at all times.

Oh and on reflection of that guy at the hardware store I was thinking maybe I could have told him to smile-because women get told that all the time.
