Have I ever really taken a vacation?

Tomorrow is national plan for vacation day and I don't fucking care and it makes me a little mad and sad inside.

I have travelled places, lived in places that others travel to for vacation but I am not someone who has this anual vacation time that I am saving up for all year, looking forward to all year and talking about it every chance I get. It just isn't my gig. I take extended weekends and most of the time I use time off to go visit family.

Should I change that? I mean I don't even have the means to do it anyway! It does not appeal to me-unless I plan to take a week off to camp or hike or be in the wilderness. That to me is vacation.

I don't vacation well, also I hardly have $ to go on one.

I used to vacation in places like Vegas or Cape Cod, but it's been several years. Now I just take time off but don't go anywhere special.
