OMG! I have to tell you all some exciting news! Captain had more ducklings this year! It was super late, or at least later than last year-so to me it was super late. ANYWAY I was on my way to go swimming when I saw them. His mate from last year (I can tell because she is missing feathers on her head) was swimming around with her 6 babies! Some were lighter colored than the others and one has a pure white neck just like the Captain! SO CUTE! ALSO that little guy likes to dive, he is so cute!

I shook berries off the dogwood trees in the park today and fed them to the ducks. Captain's family is growing. (Captain, the duck)

I saw a duck in town today. They "migrate" from the lake to downtown and the store parking lots.

If winter actually gets here! Our ducks have survived many a winter.

I miss going on walks and seeing them. I will have to put that back in my weekly routine. I didn't even get to see Captains grandducks grow up!

Yeah, they probably don't know how I rescued his grandpa! And how he keeps putting himself at risk, swimming close to the fisherpeople and he teaches them to do the same!
