I mean
if you see a spider on your wall do you just let it live?

If I am outside I figure I am in a spider's house and I won't kill it. No reason to. But if it is in my house.....it gets dead. Or okay yes sometimes I have been known to shuffle tiny creatures outside w/out killing them.

I ended up accesing my laundry basket tonight. Shook everything out, didn't see the spider. He lives another day!
