My weekend began today.
Today is the day I got my official "You may look for another opportunity" notice.
I went in at 9 AM this morning and got fired. I knew it was coming. I just didn't know what day.

I am so relieved. Time to start looking for better things.

I'm glad you're staying positive and looking forward about it, but I'm also sorry -- I HATE it when anyone gets fired, for any reason.

I have an interview on Wednesday at a different bank in town. It wasn't my first choice, which is why I waited until Friday to apply, but I would rather have a job than not, and if I were going to be at a bank, I would rather it be that one.

Thanks. I feel like I am going to throw up. My interview is in 1/2 hour.
I don't know if it is the thought of answering questions like what are my strengths and weaknesses or walking into another bank thinking about working there and dealing with any kind of bullshit or wierd culture. Ugh. I srsly can't handle it right now. Typing this all out didn't help me either! I was stuffing it down a moment ago, this just let it out. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I must go in as a tough bad ass whatever

It was actually nice to be in a place with nice people. I would say that it was slightly healing, and also made me realize what bullshit I put up with for so long. dang.
That corporate bank made me feel like i was not doing a good job constantly. It was not good for my soul.

I applied at the boat company again, finally.
I posted that they were hiring way back when and my friend asked if I was applying. I WAS TOO SCARED TO APPLY!
But now I'm in a groove, I mean at this point-what do I have to lose? I will always tell them that I am available for shifts on the boat. Last year was just a BIG FLOP so it didn't work out.
They can't sustain me for another year on the pay I made last time and there were no benefits. but it was the funnest summer job ever. I don't think I will ever have another experience like that and I feel lucky that I had that experience.

I don't care if I work just 1 day a week there. I'll do it.

The interview/discussion was interesting.
I don't even know what to do with the information I learned today.
I am beating myself up and trying not to.
AND THEN right as I am walking in the door-I get a phone call for an interview with a place that I don't even remember applying to! WTF I mean we chatted a couple years ago when I worked for the construction company-but I don't recall applying recently. WIERD!
