THE WTF OF THE DAY

This will be my "WTF of the Year" maybe. Probably. I need to find out more info before I decide how much to react.

BUT-can you tell why I would have such a reaction to this article? I found it while searching for "Stehekin" on twitter to find more accounts to follow.

Apparently this guy who lives in Stehekin works for or worked for Tulsi Gabbard-or at least recieved a bunch of campaign money. Also there is some sort of religious cult. Also, Hawaii connections in this area are strong, I am meeting more and more people who have a connection to Hawaii in one way or another.

Kris Robinson is the person, they show his picture and when I look at it I think, "That looks like the new postmaster"

The author of the article thought he could just show up to this person's house and get an interview.

What caught my eye first was that the tweet said, "Remote Village" well Stehekin is the town at the end of the lake. Not Holden Village-where I was. Since there was a picture in the tweet I knew it was Stehekin.

There is a fire burning in a town near tve Canadian border.
This guy makes a nice post from one of my postmaster groups.

Some corporate person says the " prayers" and " I hope the post office is spared damage"

That is messed up to me. Not what I would want to hear if I were in that town and trying to get people evacuated. It changed direction so they had to work at new evacuations.
