I have 2 allowable hours of work to do today that will probably take me 8 hours to do. What the fuck is up with that?

I just mean that I will do other things besides working, when really I should just do the 2 hours and get it out of the way. Its kind of wierd working part time and hourly
I have 2 tasks I want to complete and then I'll call it good.

I don't know if I mentioned I had gone to an interview for an orchard. I did not get that position. But I am fine with it. I would have done the job or could have done it, but I don't think I really had my heart in it.
So this week I doubled down and am trying to make it work where I am and maybe waiting for the boat to take up in May. Ugh. Its a long time to work. I swear this is my last season doing it!
As fun as it is-it is not sustainable long term. But maybe when I retire!

Thanks. One of my cousins said that too-she said I should write a book.

GUESS WHAT?! The boat said I could come back early! They want me to start in April, not in May. So that is great news. Now I just have to figure out what to do with the part time job I am working. It has only been 20 hours, so like usually 5 hours a day, but she thinks I should be available for 8. Ugh. So she won't like me not being available on some days. So I have to come up with a plan or leave her all together. Ugh.

She was actually cool with it. That made it easier. Maybe she is planning on getting rid of me anyway! Who knows?! And then the boat said I could have some boat days in April also. So thats fun.

And then, today I looked in the mirror and I said, "I deserve to have a job w/ health benefits and I'm going to find it" So that happened. Maybe I feel a pending medical procedure coming up. Just kidding I don't. But if I did, it would be alot easier to be covered and I've just been lucky this last year.

I am currently feeling anxious and resolved at the same time.

As I was doing social media tonight for work I ran across some marketing company that I liked. And I've been noticing event planning-I know there is a part of me that loves some of the job I am doing-I think I might like doing it for another company tho. One where I am not using my own computer, one that doesn't feel chaotic, one where maybe I recieve a little more training and not just figuring stuff out on my own.

So I am putting that out into the universe to see what happens next.
