Yup, lots of boxes and containers, and some of it was already boxed by the cleaning/organizing guys that came last month.

Now I just need the moving company to call me back and confirm that they have my request and are coming on Tuesday!

Today I met with the agent and got my keys. I had some supplies and my new bedframe and mattress delievered today, plus some kitchen stuff from Amazon.

Tomorrow may be more for organizing myself here before the move, since there aren't many deliveries to the new place tomorrow that I have to meet.

Monday is when it starts getting heavy, with lots of deliveries, cable/internet installation, and housecleaning & setting up whatever's been delivered.

Then (if the moving co shows) moving my stuff on Tuesday. The rest of the week is more deliveries, plus handymen coming to assemble some of the furniture.

I took off Mon-Wed from work, so my work PC will have to be up and running by Thursday. Wheee!

Wow! Sounds like a super busy week. I'm glad you took some time off.

Also-just mon-wed tho? I mean how many vacations/time off have you even taken? Dude you should be taking a week off! I know, I know.

My work schedule is late afternoon/evening, so I have the daytime to get the moving/setting up done. Also I took some time last month to do cleaning/organizing of my current place because it was an unorganized mess.

Things are mostly going according to schedule except for the one big thing: nailing down the movers. They still haven't gotten back to me to confirm the moving date! If I don't hear from them tomorrow morning, I'm going to have to scramble to find another mover fast to get it done by Thursday. It's not that much stuff since a lot of my things are in storage, and I'm buying most of the furniture new.

This will be an ongoing process for sure. I have a recliner coming for the living room but I haven't settled on a sofa yet. Having places to sit is taking a few days to resolve, lol.

My sister just went though a move and she still apologizes for the boxes in her hallways. So I just do the opposite response, "Yeah! You better move these now!"

I hope the movers get thier act together!

The big move is done. And the handyman who assembled my bed, dining table/chairs and TV shelf center just left.

Boxes everywhere. I'm so exhausted. I feel disgusting.
