Drove west, over the mountains and saw beautiful Mt Rainier today. Sooo gorgeous! Stunning!

Anyway, staying at my moms tonight, and her house is a little stuffy tonight, but she does have these neat little fans that give me a nice breeze. Apparently I am in the city where we don't leave our windows open at night because it is too dangerous.

And here I have been thinking of moving back.....

The heat

Its warm

My tall sunflower plant that hasn't bloomed yet
is swaying
but that isn't the right word for it-

Its this strange heat wind

as if there is a fire
but no fire

You can't tell by looking at the bushes on the hill,
or the rose bush in the courtyard
but my sunflower
is being pushed around like a ghost is just standing out there breathing on it
moving it around
