I saw some ducks today.
I saw some ducks and fed them over the weekend.

Also.....I have been looking for the one they call Captain and I haven't seen him almost all summer. I have a feeling he may not be around. : (

OMG

I really want to see/hear that scene w/out that noise tho! wow!

I fed the ducks today at the park. They like the dogwood berries. So I shake the tree so the berries fall to the ground and the ducks eat them. And then like a crazy duck lady I collect some in a bag for the 1 lone duck that hangs out at our work.
And when people ask me what I am doing, or what they are eating, or anything I hate it because nothing about what I am doing makes me sound normal.

There is a duck by the dock at my work.
1 lone duck.
So I started feeding it.
Yesterday more ducks showed up.
I did not feed them.
Today lone duck was there again
AND BEING SOOO LOUD!
Until I mashed up a pumpkin muffin and fed it to her.
Then she looked at me when I came home.

Why is she all by herself? And why when the other ducks come around she doesn't leave with them?
And was she the scout? OMG I am going to go get real duck food for her tomorrow.

I did not get real duck food, but I had sunflower seeds and I gave that to the very happy duck my new soul mate who I want to adopt.

Real duck food is anything like seeds-or natural food rather than say bread or a muffin or parts of my granola bar, but oatmeal is good too!

I visited my niece's farm and she has ducks. They are like captain and all of them are grey, black or white.
