I got my fingerprints done last week for the post office job. I actually also got them done for future ferry jobs also.
The post office guy ssid, " okay, it should be 5 weeks now and then you will hear about orientation and training!"

Wtf.
So I signed up for unemployment benefits, which I was avoiding, but it hasnt been approved yet. And I am applying at jobs on the west side.
We will see what happens.

A little bit of a struggle. I will do work at the arena if the opportunity arises again. My enthusiasm for the PO remote job has faded quickly.

I am losing my patience. : (
Also I went back over the emails exchanged between my new potential boss and they are frustrating as he completly ignored any questions I had.

I am sure everyone is doing the best they can.

Right?

Now I don't feel guilty if I bag the whole thing. I don't know if I am dodging a bullet, but I still feel a little bit of disapointment.

Okay, no I didn't get another full time job besides the post master job I am waiting for.

But I just had the funnest night ever for the stupidest reasons.

I worked at the arena with my sister doing a stage build for an event tomorrow and made like more than $200, sweet.
Then as I was leaving I decided to drive around the city a bit and re-familiarze myself with it and saw some cool buildings I like.
ALSO-I applied for this job in one of the buildings-guess what as? AS A DOORMAN (Person!!!!) But it is a little more than that but it sounded like the coolest thing ever. But it has no benefits so whatever why do I keep applying to stupid jobs like that because like I said before "Monkeys"

AND then on the way home I stopped at this grocery store I don't usually shop at in this town, but now it will be the only one i want to go to it is the coolest and has all the stuff I can eat AND the coolest employees! OMG I loved them-and this one gal-srsly she is a talker and she says to me, "Well why don't you do instacart while you are here?"

I mean I could.....right. I'm going to look at it AND SEE.

The other cool thing w/ doing the stage build tonight was hearing other people who have had odd jobs and I felt right at home. It was nice. I'm not the only one!!!!

Anyway, I got to work at the arena again tonight. We hung 80ft curtains! Fun (not so fun). And I got to work with my doppleganger again. She is so cute!

Oh also I forgot to mention that at the beginning of my shift yesterday the world cup was playing in one of the bar/restaurants and we heard this screaming, but for a moment couldn't tell if something bad had happened and we needed to send help-it was quite the excited exuberant let out of excitement-but it didn't sound like it for a moment-it was like "OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE IT and then inaudible sounds and then some words" I wish we had it recorded, but technically we aren't allowed to be on our phones or have them out in certain areas of the arena. So we all just stood around.

Tomorrow's shift begins at 10 AM - 3 PM and then 10 PM- 2 AM. Another big $ day. Too bad they are far between. I am psyching myself up for the heavy lifting and physical work tomorrow.
