Its a turning!

Sunday I get on a boat and go uplake and start my new job as Post Mistress on Monday. (Is THAT 1 or 2 words?! OMG!)

I have 3 days to pack and organize my totes. They will go in my car, the car will go on the barge on Wednesday. I'll drop it off Sunday before I get on the boat.

I got my tax refund so I was able to do some shopping and I stocked up on Trader Joe's snacks. I have some real food too.

It hasn't really hit me yet, but I have my moments.

The most surprising thing I did today was measure the stack of mail w/ a tape measure and record the inches of the stack. What? Why is that a thing?

This is one of the only manual offices left in this area. There is one other that I know of.

I can't wait for the end of the week to be here. It is not so much the work....but the fact that I am also living with my coworker temporarily so I feel I cannot get away at all. I've been pretty good at dodging the conversation time after work at the house, but tonight the lights went out and so I was about to make my dinner and switched to making a huge salad instead and he talked through the whole thing. ohmygawd
Thankfully the power came back on.

It is nice to have a weekend. I will have exactly 7 weekends until the season starts and then it will be Sundays off only. Saturday will be only a 3 hour day. 11-2.

You are never going to fucking believe this.

So there is a process we do at the PO that I don't understand. I do not understand how my trainer is explaining it to me. The previous PO guy is in town for the weekend and has been available to me for questions. I asked him about this process and he said it took him a whie, and he does it different than my trainer does. Great.
So......
Guess what i did tonight? I typed in my question-AND guess where I have found my answer so far? REDDIT. Fucking Reddit. And the post reads, "HI I am new to the job and trying to figure out this process every night and I feel like I am annoying my boss every night asking for help" OMFG
WHAT A FUCKING PROBLEM.

Its shit like this that sends me over the edge. But I'm not like leaving town over it or anything, but I'm just sayin man. This aint right!

But also-I know how to get shit done. I will find an answer.
