Ziploc bags
grapes
something else
I already forgot as I walked up the stairs and sat down
Rainbow falls is roaring
the creeks are flowing
I hear birds, and I hear water, I can hear the river
flowers are blooming
I can hear people working
I saw people working
I didn't want to do my chore and then I did it anyway
Clancy with the wheelbarrel
the kids on the band saw, yes kids. Well, a 15 year old, 18 year old and a 29 year old
I don't even know how to run a band saw or what I would need it for
they call thier fathers and ask for directions
they help me with my tire when it was low
they come up with other ways to get to work when thier own tire blows
I feel silly with my princess car in a world full of lumberjacks
but I won't beat myself up too much, that doesn't do any good.
Best thing I can do is ask how its done, then do it

What, specifically, about grapes? I like them but sometimes it's hard getting good ones. And if they're called "seedless" they shouldn't even have those weird little seeds in them.

grapes were on my shopping list. They arrived today. Problem is-they get picked up from the store at 7 AM and then travel on a boat, which arrives at 11 AM-and its hot out, I pick them up as soon as I can but didn't have a way to keep them completely cool either, so they aren't as firm as I like, but I will still eat them. And I just ate one and it didn't have seeds!

Did your hat not arrive?

I also ordered a cucumber in my groceries, it was damaged, but still mostly fine, but also a little "wilty" if a cucumber can be that way. Well I took a picture of it, sent it to the store and asked if they could send me a new one. They will not, but they will credit me for a free cucumber next time. 2 even! I really wanted them to wrap 1 cucumber, give it to the boat and have it travel to me. That would have made my day. :D

Today I kayaked
the lake smells like 1 giant flower
blooms everywhere, pollen everywhere
the lake was calm on my drive to the launch site, but then I noticed some storm clouds moving in
I kayaked anyways.
had to launch on the rocks
It isn't as fun kayaking on this side of the lake as there aren't as many ducks swimming around. In fact there were none. Only 1 lonely merganser who I am sure was injured. Why do I always have to see and notice these things? It was cute. I hope it survives, otherwise it will be a meal for an eagle which is probably how it got injured in the first place.

I want to live by a lake!!!!

I've always lived near the ocean, but if you want to do stuff you have to go to a public beach.

With lakes, usually it's in a lakeside cabin/house that you rent or own.

I like lakes.

I like both.
I sure did like living near the lake when I was in town. I will see how different it is up here. I'll have to find those sweet-touristy free spots.

Do you go to the ocean much? How many miles away is it? I was going to ask how long it takes to get there-because that is how we ask it over here. LOL.

I've always lived near the coast, so the ocean is only a few miles away, as it was growing up.

But I almost never go these days, too much of a shut-in and too out of shape.

My sister and her husband used to have a nice boat, I went out with them a few times and even swam in the ocean. But that was years ago.

Tonight
A variety show
A talent show if you will
to celebrate the trilium, spring!
It started out with a band, Agnes Fire
A couple playing guitar and banjo
another couple of songs
piano player
someone playing an instrument I forgot the name of
some real tear jerker songs dedicated to those passed on
and then a comedian, smack dab in the middle
more music
and then a skit with juggling
and a goodbye song to a couple leaving the area to go to vermont!

Oooo Vermont, just as green and lake-y as that place is for sure. They'll feel like they never moved, lol.

Yeah? Cool. They will be less isolated there.

Today I didn't recognize my hands when I looked down at them.
And then I found this marvelous lady on tik tok and I feel grateful.
