Why do I love Laura Dern?

I am watching her in an episode of Kimmy Schmidt and I know she was in Wild and some other roles and films and shows, but there is something about her that I love! She feels like an old friend from the 80's.

It's the hair -- best hair in the industry. Plus she's beautiful but not a little porcelain doll.
