Things I accomplished today

Yeah.

When the snow hit yesterday-I just laughed and said, "I signed up for this" and "This was my dream" but I said those things sarcastically because I am not ready for it yet.
There is stuff I was supposed to move and if this snow doens't melt I won't be able to get to it until the spring. ALSO I was going to go get my Christmas tree this weekend-I found the perfect one and now it will have to wait.

We buy tree permits from the forest service and then can go chop/saw a tree down. Wee!

Well,
I managed to lock myself out this morning.
Luckily I was dressed and had shoes on at least-but not boots!
I was able to push open one of the windows and grab a ladder and get inside while the cat watched in concern.

(I have a whole blog post about getting locked out of places)

It is Saturday. Will I accomplish rest? My cat says no. Will I accomplish laundry-well at least the washing and drying but probably not the putting away. Will I accomplish a walk outside? Will I accomplish Christmas Cards? Will I re-string the lights on my tree?
There is a social gathering this evening of dessert and singing. Will I bring something?

The one thing I must accomplish this weekend is to replenish my porch wood pile. It is at exactly zero at the moment.

Will I drive around this weekend and look at the rest of the valley covered in snow, including the airport? During the week all of these things sounded feasible, now I just want to lay in bed.

Well now someone is coming over at 4 to walk the labyrinth I stomped down in the snow. Now I have things to do!

Some people came over before the Christmas singing and brought 2 candles and left for others. And then after the singing a gal and her kids and an extra kid came and walked the labyrinth, but not as contemplative lol.

Yesterday I stocked my porch wood pile

And

I did some dishes
all of the dishes
ALL OF THEM

I still had a baking dish in the sink-it was basically clean, just sitting there holding the other dishes I would stack in the sink AND then I had a bunch of drink vessels that I hadn't properly washed, so I finally got all of them washed!

It felt good to get those things accomplished.

I did not accomplish my clothing pile however LOL
