I like to forget about season 7. They went and did all the stupid things like make Sisko a prophet all along.

Dukat was a great character until they turned him into a parody of himself.

Yeah, they should have killed off Dukat in 'Waltz' or we should just never have seen him again. He was far more interesting when he didn't know he was Hitler rather than going around all "YES, I AM HITLER, I WILL BURN YOU WITH MY HITLER POWERS."

Looking back, it is kind of interesting that they transformed the show into a multi-year war story, only to have the finale still be about the Bajoran spritual stuff that divided the fandom lol.
