I have seen a couple but not as many as usual. I think they're trying to be more serious about this one. If it comes into Tampa the way it looks like it might, this will be really bad.

The predicted path is only a few miles to the west of here, but some of the spaghetti models take the eye right over me. I'm hoping it GOES AWAY

I can't figure out where I should try to sleep. Maybe under the table in the dining room!

I got the jars o dong buried in the yard for their protection!

I guess you should sleep anywhere that's not near a window or door. Maybe move a mattress or cot into a hallway? But I'm not an expert like Al Roker.

This house is a frankenhouse, part of it was built in the 30s or 40s (I don't even know) and is wood, the additions to the house are concrete block and concrete floor. If it gets bad I will be in the concrete part! But I will have my parents, my brother and his gf, plus 3 dogs.

I am most worried about the roof. If it gets blown off it won't matter where I am.

THE DONG ZOMBIES WILL RULE AFTER THE APOCALYPSE.

Just got off the phone speaking with Cassie. SHE IS OKAY!!!

No power, but she has seen some Electric Repair trucks on her street. House survived, some damage to an outside structure and limbs down in the yard of course but otherwise things are looking good considering.
All are okay, just ready for when they can take a shower again.

I promised her I would let y'all know as soon as I got off the phone with her.

P.S. No signs of zombies yet.

I will, the next time I speak with her. She had to borrow a phone to call me because her landline is not working. And she doesn't know when she'll be able to get online but at least we know she is safe.
