Yeah it was. The creek in this case is in a area that's frequently used by the homeless (there's always trash around and or in it).

I saw a load of ducks and swans happily swimming together in the canal. Hopefully forming an alliance to take on the geese!

Ooooh nice.

I saw them. The parking lot ducks have taken their usual winter spot at the end of the lot by the cart return. The store was busy today and I ended up parking at the end of the lot which is odd for me.
I got out of my car
and they looked at me
I walked toward them to take a picture of course
and they quaked at me! As if to say, "Hey! Don't take our picture without leaving some food!"

So I went into the store and upon my return they looked at me again.
I got out of the bag some rice
I couldn't remember what I was supposed to feed them, it was all I could find.
So they got some brown rice.

They might have been just saying hello. Ducks are friendly!

I think wild rice is a preferred thing for them.

Okay
I saw a mamma duck today
and 10 ducklings! It was so cute! I noticed them when the boat came in and I went out to open the gate. They were riding the waves but some of them got to close to the shore and kind of stumbled when they would hit the sand, it was so cute. And then I rembmered I was working and I couldn't stand there and take pictures for like 10 minutes (I didn't get any) (I just imagined taking photos)(Maybe that is why I lose jobs)(Just kidding)

I saw several ducks in the river today. So cute. Also one had a lighter color to it. I will try to post a pic of it on Twitter.

Do you ever notice that the lady ducks do tend to hang out together after all the mating stuff is done?
